Verify by Tiller is an electronic identity verification (ID&V) service that enables businesses to perform remote identity checks on their end customers. The Verify Portal is a user-friendly web-based platform that allows business users to manage their customer verification, send invites to customers, and manage their company settings. In this article, we'll explore the features and benefits of the Verify Portal and how it helps businesses manage their customer verifications.
Firstly you will need to log into the Verify Portal using your email and password.
Creating a new application
The Verify Portal enables clients to create new applications and add individuals to them seamlessly. Once the application is created, the client can invite individuals to complete the verification process using the Verify mobile app. Each customer will receive a unique invite code which will give them access to the app.
The app guides the individuals through the verification process step-by-step, making it quick and easy to complete. By using the Verify mobile app, individuals can complete the verification process at their convenience, without the need to visit a physical location or provide paper documentation. This streamlined process improves the customer experience.
The email will confirm that the invitation has been sent on behalf of your company.
Managing applications
The Verify Portal is used to view and manage verification for your end customers. Once created the verification applications can be tracked and managed through four different stages: 'New', 'In Progress', 'In Review', and 'Complete'. There is also an additional status, 'Rejected', which indicates that the application has been rejected by the user in the Verify Portal.
- 'New' Status
The 'New' status is the initial status of a verification application, indicating that invites have not yet been sent to the individuals who need to complete the verification process. Once the user creates a new verification application, they can add the individuals but do not have to sent the invites out straight away. Once the individuals have been added, the application will remain in the 'New' status until the invites have been sent.
-
'In Progress' Status
The 'In Progress' status indicates that one or more of the individuals in the application have not yet completed all of the mobile actions required for the verification process. It is up to the individual to complete all the necessary steps. While an application is in the 'In Progress' status, the business user can monitor the progress of each individual and send reminders if necessary. You can still view the results of any individual that has completed the mobile app process even if other have not.
-
'In Review' Status
The 'In Review' status indicates that all individual have completed the mobile process and all the results are ready for viewing. You will be able to generate a customer verification report for all the participants, this should be downloaded and stored against your client records. The business user can also review the results of each individual in the application and determine whether the application meets their verification requirements. You may need to complete extra checks directly with your customer is they have failed some of the check and they cannot be verified using the client report information.
-
'Complete' Status
The Complete status indicates that the application has been reviewed and the user is satisfied with the verification results. The user can click the 'Complete' button which will change the applications status. Once an application is in the 'Complete' status, the verification process is considered finished. Once the user is satisfied with the downloaded customer reports they could archive or delete the application.
-
'Rejected' Status
The Rejected status indicates that the application has been rejected in the Verify Portal. This can occur if the verification results do not meet the business user's verification requirements or if there are issues with the application. The business user can review the results and determine why the application was rejected, and take appropriate action to address any issues.
You can also add extra individuals, delete individuals and delete entire applications from with the Verify portal.
Users and permissions
